SINGING SERVICE CREW
Singing Service Crew-Servers, Bartenders & Bussers ($8.40/ hour plus tips)
Portland Spirit will be auditioning for Singing Servers, Bussers and Bartender in May/June 2009.
*Must be over the age of 18 to apply for Server or Bartenders position.
*Must be over the age of 16 to apply for Busser position.
All interested singing applicants please be ready to audition during the interview and please bring in the following:
One(1) memorized song. You MUST provide the sheet music. We provide the pianist.

Service Crew Responsibilities
Pre-employment drug screen and enrolled in random D.O.T. drug testing schedule, required.
All Service Crew will be directly responsible for all related styles of service, including, but not limited to, table side, banquet, and cocktailing. Wine, alcohol and beer knowledge desired. Service crew members responsibilities are diverse but not limited to the following; On-board guest services, food service, interacting with customers, beverage sales, entertainment and gift shop sales. Line handling and deckhand work as well as all vessel set-up and cleaning. Ability to do repeated bending, lifting, climbing of stairs, and extended periods on your feet. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to work as a team player. Restaurant or catering background required.
NON-SINGING SERVICE CREW
Non-Singing Service Crew -Servers, Bartenders & Bussers ($8.40/hour plus tips)

CRUISE DIRECTORS (Cruise Shift Managers)
Cruise Directors (Shift Managers) ($8.50/hour plus tips)
Cruise Director are directly responsible for all service crew members (servers, bussers, bartenders and photographers) Food Handlers card & OLCC permit required.
Pre-employment drug screen and enrolled in random D.O.T. drug testing schedule, required.
Must provide strong leadership in this dynamic challenging environment.
Cruise Directors responsibilities are diverse but not limited to the following; On-board guest services, food service, interacting with customers, beverage sales, entertainment and gift shop sales. Line handling and deckhand work as well as all vessel set-up and cleaning. Cruise Directors perform host functions on-board vessels, including greeting guests, public speaking, organizing and leading on-board activities. Must have at least 2 years food service and managerial experience.
CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (Front office position)
Customer Service Representative (Starting $8.50-$9.50 depends on office experience)
*Must be over the age of 16 to apply.
We are looking for self-motivated, experienced Customer Service Representative interested in the hospitality and tourism industry. You would be directly responsible for telephone and in-person reservation requests from individual and small group. Excellent customer service telephone skills and computer experience; cash handling and accurate typing a must. Must be available to work day time hours, holidays and some weekends. Pre-employment drug screen.
MARINE CAPTAINS
Marine Captains (Starting at $14.00/hour, depends on experience)
100-ton Masters and excellent public relation skills required. Captains position will not be limited to the dinner boats but also be responsible for operation of 40-foot jet boat.

OPERATIONS ENGINEERS & SENIOR DECKHANDS
SR. Deckhands (Starting at $10.00/hour, depends on experience)
Operations Engineer (Starting at $11.00/hour, depends on experience)

Seeking experienced individuals with plumbing, safety, electrical, operations & mechanical knowledge to maintain systems aboard vessels. Pre-employment drug screen and enrolled in random D.O.T. drug testing schedule, required. Training provided.
LEAD COOKS/LINE COOKS
Lead Cooks (Starting at $12.00/hour, depends on experience)
Line & Prep Cooks (Starting at $10.00/hour, depends on experience)

Minimum of 1 year of responsible culinary experience preparing, cooking, and serving meals in
large quantities in a restaurant or food establishment.
Verifiable references and a Food Handlers card, required.
DISHWASHER
Dishwasher (Starting at 8.40/hour)
General cleaning of dishes, kitchen and dining area. Must have flexible schedule; evenings, weekends, and holidays required. Must be dependable. Verifiable references and a Food Handlers Card.

COLUMBIA GORGE CAFE & GIFT SHOP
Cafe & Gift Shop (Cascade Locks, Oregon location) ($8.40/hour plus tips)
Restaurant /retail background recommended. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Highly skilled in relating to people and ability to work as a team player.
Food Handlers card required and OLCC required
Ability to do repeated bending, lifting, climbing of stairs, and extended periods on your feet.
